三重県志摩市と持続可能な海洋環境保護に関する包括協定を締結
７月２２日に三重県志摩市と、持続可能な海洋環境の保護、発展への寄与を目的とした包括協定を締結させていただきました。
協定式はオンライン通信で行われ、竹内千尋志摩市長と、モニター画面を通じて出席した井植理事長とが、協定書に署名を交わしました。
同市では来年第９回太平洋・島サミットが予定されていることから、協定を通じて海洋保護に関する企画での協力、海洋環境保護教育の推進および全国初となるエリアバージョンのブルーシーフードガイド三重版による志摩市産の伊勢エビやアワビなどの情報発信を含む、包括的なプロジェクトを推進していきます。
Sailors for the Sea Japan signed an MoU on July 22, 2020, with Shima City, Mie Prefecture, to protect the sustainable marine environment and contribute to its development.
The agreement ceremony was held online, and while Mayor Chihiro Takeuchi signed in the city hall of Shima, Minako Iue, Chair and CEO of Sailors for the Sea Japan attended through the monitor screen and signed the agreement.
Since the 9th Pacific Islands Leaders Meeting (PALM9) is scheduled for next year in the city, Sailors for the Sea Japan will support the city by advising on marine conservation projects, promotion of marine environmental protection education, and information transmission on sustainable seafood including Shima-produced Ise shrimp and abalone through the nation’s first regional version of Blue Seafood Guide Mie version.
